Virtual Walkthrough of your Factory Floor
Have you ever wanted to walk the floor of your facility from within Dozuki? Or measure the distance between production workstations without leaving the office? With our new Matterport integration, any industrial environment can be represented and interacted with, virtually in Dozuki.
Matterport is a 3D capture system that creates digital twin models of any space (equipment, rooms, facilities, etc), and the mapping can be recorded through your camera phone -- meaning the barrier to entry is fairly low.
The models can be viewed in first-person (similar to Google Maps Street View) for a walk-through experience, with tagging to call-out specific details:
Or viewed in a dollhouse perspective for a schematic top-down look at your floor plan:
And any surface recorded within the Matterport file can be measured remotely:
The ability to embed Matterport files into your Dozuki Guides and Wikis, provides a new way to train in industrial environments without interrupting production or risk of safety implications.
To see how a Matterport embed renders in Dozuki, we've put together a brief example Category and Guide.
