Version Control: Data Capture Fields
Following our recent update to Approval Requests we received widespread feedback on other ways to assure Version Control was meeting the needs of our customers.
One widely requested feature was the ability to include Data Capture Fields in both the Approval Process and Document History of any Guide. Giving additional visibility into what has changed within a documented procedure and ensuring that changes to these important fields do not bypass your Approval Processes.
Example of a Data Capture Step Form (Editor View) |
Starting the week of March 30th:
- If you have both Approval Processes and Data Capture enabled, changes to data capture fields will now be part of both your Approval Review and Document History
- Modifications to data capture fields that were made prior to this update, will continue to be visible in the Approved version of your documents and Operator View, even if they are currently in draft format.
